Pro tip: after you give so much space to cars, don't forget to make sure pedestrians blame it on the cyclists by banning them in lakeside parks.

On a positive note, an army of bats didn't seem too disturbed living in the trees along these traffic jams and flew at dusk. I had never seen so many bats at once!

Lyon by bicycle is always a breeze! The Vélo'v rental bike pricing is a bit sneaky though (not surprised coming from JCDecaux): beyond the first 30 minutes they show prices like 0.05-0.15€/min instead of 3-9€/h. And even with the 4€ "day pass" you still pay extra per the minute!
That said the bicycles were better maintained than in Montpellier.

It's been a while since I achieved a major milestone with #Zwift, so it feels pretty good to share that I just hit a 52 week streak!
I've been dying to go for a longer (for me, that means longer than about 15km) ride for weeks. We have an important multi use path that connects the valley with a bunch of higher elevation neighborhoods that's been closed during the week for a couple of months due to major erosion-proofing work they're doing. But, it being Sunday, it was open and useable.
I managed to get 30km in today, and although the weather was due to get weird it fortunately held off until I was finished. It's been pretty cool lately, but I'm hoping to be riding more consistently soon. (It was all of 4C when I started, better than the -2 when I woke up)

(he, him, his) It was a glrorious afternoon for a bike ride once the rain stopped. I cycled to a couple of stores to pick up some things, and it was lovely to see how many people (and dogs) were walking and cycling on the multi-use paths.
My main goal, though, was to test new @CyclingGuide functionality, including a simple dashboard while cycling. There are still glitches to work out, but overall it's working well. He's a short clip showing it working.

A4. Leaving aside bikepacking gear, I would choose my Wolf Tooth Master Link Pliers. Perfect for a saddlebag with limited space. They're lovely and so far, thankfully, unused!
